Avocado Tartare

Updated: Apr 24, 2019

I am always into finding amazing things to do with a fresh, rich avocado!

This dish is great to serve as an appetizer along with fresh toasted bread, can be served along with your brunch spread and bagels or can even be plated in smaller potions along with your dinner!

The bright citrus plays with the richness of the avocado, the raw vegetables and freshness of the herbs to create a beautiful & healthy tartar!

If you have nothing but love for your avocados, and you take joy in turning them into guacamole, all you need is someone to share it with. -Jason Mraz

Taste aside, avocados are a nutritional power food!

In a 3.5 oz serving, the avocado provides up to 25 % of your daily value of vitamin K, Folate, Vitamin C, Potassium, Vitamin B5, Vitamin B6, Vitamin E. It also provides small amounts of magnesium, manganese, copper, iron, zinc, thiamine, riboflavin, phosphorus, vitamin A & niacin. Not forgetting the 2 grams of protein and 15 grams of healthy fats. Whew! Only containing 2 net carbs (9 grams of carbs, but 7 are fiber), avocado is also a low-carb & plant-friendly food!

A recipe is a great option for gluten-free, vegan, mediterranean, raw food & keto diets as well as for people who just like to eat yummy food....
