Who I am
Experience & Purpose
After graduating from a culinary arts program, I traveled the world.
I worked at Greens in San Francisco, traveled around Italy and France training and exploring food with chefs in each country, drove across the US exploring food and music every state I drove into, studied coffee in Chicago, worked as a barista and a mixologist, explored food in Sweden, Norway and most recently Brazil.
I owned and operated a 100% organic restaurant and was Sous-Chef de Cuisine at a higher end seasonal restaurant in Dubuque, IA.
Every experience holds new inspiration--- from the people I meet, the chefs and musicians I interact with and the food I explore.
I focus on food sustainability, promoting local wherever local is to you, eating well and making food not only healthy and easy, but fun.
For the past 10 years, I have also performed in two bands.
One focused on performing and developing original music, the other focused on jamming, becoming better musicians and making life fun.
