This combination is one of my favorites. Sweet and savory, herbaceous and fresh with a layer of healthy oil tying it all together.
This is a deliciously simple meal. Easy to make, fast to prepare & easy to eat. Definitely easy to eat.
If you are in a pinch or wish to not spend your time making pasta at home, a nice thing about buying store-bought pasta is you can use whatever pasta you desire. Ravioli, tortellini, fettuccini, spaghetti, gluten-free pastas or even rice! Heck, if you want to double-up on vegetables, feel free to skip the carbs all together and mix this with sautéed veggies.

Now time to get saucy! I love making pesto because it is such a fresh, delicious sauce. I grow tons of basil in the summer and keep basil plants in my kitchen windows during the winter. It is great to have not only for personal happiness, but to use in lots of scrumptious recipes.

I love sourcing local mushrooms to use when cooking, but really any kind of mushroom that makes you happy is good. As always, choosing the fresh, organic produce makes for an amazingly tasty meal. So what are you waiting for? Grab your apron and make your mouth happy!
